About AMFM Healthcare

We’re passionate about helping others change their lives for the better.

Since 2011, AMFM Healthcare has been a nationwide leader in mental health services, helping individuals rebuild their lives through comprehensive, compassionate, and results-driven care.

The Foundation of Our Mission

Our foundation is rooted in a deeply personal experience. After losing their son, Michael, to mental illness, his family was driven by a desire to create meaningful support for others facing similar challenges. They founded A Mission For Michael (AMFM Treatment) with a commitment to ensuring that individuals and families could access the care, guidance, and expertise needed during some of life’s most difficult moments.

As our commitment to serving those in need grew, we continued expanding our continuum of care to address mental health needs across different stages of life and recovery. In 2020, we launched Mission Connection to provide outpatient mental health services and ongoing support beyond residential treatment. Recognizing the distinct needs of younger populations, we established Mission Prep in 2023 to offer specialized residential programming for adolescents and their families.

ONE MISSION, THREE PATHS

Through our three distinctive programs, A Mission For Michael, Mission Prep, and Mission Connection, we offer care designed to meet the unique needs of both adults and adolescents. From residential treatment to intensive outpatient care, our continuum provides the right level of support at each stage of healing, with a consistent focus on quality, compassion, and meaningful progress.

Every individual who seeks our care is welcomed into a safe, respectful environment where healing begins with understanding. Each treatment plan is tailored to the individual, ensuring every client feels seen, heard, and cared for. Guided by their well-being as our true north, this person-centered approach helps clients overcome challenges and build brighter futures.

Driven by our single mission to help others achieve positive change, we remain committed to strengthening our programs and expanding access so more individuals can find the support they need for lasting mental wellness.

Our Programs

Our Philosophy

At AMFM Healthcare, meaningful healing is built on expertise, compassion, and genuine understanding. These principles shape every decision we make, every interaction we have, and every treatment plan we create, guiding how we support individuals and families on their journey toward lasting change.

Treatment Persistence

We believe there is always a path forward. At AMFM Healthcare, we reject the notion of a “treatment-resistant” individual and instead embrace a treatment-persistent mindset. When one approach isn’t effective, we continue searching, learning, and adapting until we find what works. Healing is rarely linear, and lasting change often requires patience, flexibility, and unwavering commitment. Every person deserves a team that remains dedicated to finding the path that supports their success.

Connection

Meaningful healing happens through genuine relationships. We approach every client with empathy, authenticity, and respect, creating an environment where individuals feel seen, heard, and understood. Beyond treatment, we recognize the importance of helping clients strengthen connections with their families, support systems, and communities. By fostering trust and belonging, we help build the foundation for long-term recovery and a healthier future.

Going the Extra Mile

Compassion is reflected in action. We are committed to anticipating needs, removing barriers, and creating an experience where clients feel supported every step of the way. Whether through thoughtful gestures, proactive problem-solving, or personalized support, we strive to make each individual’s recovery journey as comfortable, empowering, and transformative as possible.

The Details Matter

Exceptional care is built on understanding the whole person. We believe the smallest details often reveal the most important insights, which is why we take the time to listen carefully and understand each client’s unique experiences, challenges, strengths, and goals. This attention to detail allows us to create highly personalized treatment plans that are both clinically informed and deeply human.

Curiosity

Great care requires continuous learning. We remain open-minded, curious, and committed to exploring new ways to help individuals heal and grow. Our clinical teams continually evaluate emerging research, evidence-based practices, and innovative therapeutic approaches to ensure clients receive the highest quality care possible. By challenging assumptions and embracing thoughtful innovation, we can better serve the evolving needs of those we support.

Who We Are

We are dedicated and experienced healthcare professionals. While many residential treatment programs are staffed by individuals with little to no clinical experience or certifications, AMFM Healthcare is different. We employ clinicians who have a Master’s or Doctorate-level education in mental healthcare.

You can expect that staff members who direct group, family, and individual therapy are highly qualified and experienced in order to give evidence-based, up-to-date treatment that yields results.
